This week’s “Project Manager Hiring” is one of my favorite solutions.
By definition, a project manager is a person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure of a project. (1)
He or she could facilitate the change within a business; they could be a specialist who leads a team to realize its full potential or an individual tasked with improving stakeholder engagement. (2)
By hiring a project manager, companies to have much more probability of:
- set clear objectives that are tied to your business strategy, helping you to achieve the very best results from your project;
- keep you on track to achieve your goals without the scope of the project changing;
- improve team productivity,
- keep you on budget and on time;
- Free up skilled team members and make your resources go further
- Achieve better stakeholder engagement (3)
A project manager brings a set of skills like Planning, Organization, Communication, Accountability, Management of Cost and Time, Control, and Experience.
The project manager is the glue of your project. Their main job is to bring a particular project to completion, both on time and within budget. In the long run, having a competent project manager overseeing your project will most likely save you time, money, and a headache! (4)
